The usual QR menu fails in three ways: the PDF is slow, the code points at something that has since moved, and nobody can find the date it was last right. Fix each of them once.
A scanned or exported PDF takes seconds to load on a weak signal, cannot be read without zooming, and is not searchable. A menu built from text blocks loads instantly, reads at phone size, and is easy to edit when a dish drops off.
A basic QR code contains the destination address itself. Change the destination and you must reprint every card, sticker and sign. A forwarding QR holds a stable address instead, which then sends people to wherever your page is today.
